I sat on the terraces of Machu Picchu to absorb the scene infront of me. The sun rising from behind the mountains, the remains of an ancient civilization perched on the mountain, this is truly a magical place.

What’s the latest…
I'm travelling the world once again, but this time a little differently. I am currently cycle touring my way through Europe. On the 11/11/11 I pedalled out of Bromsgrove, a few hundred kilometres north-west of London. From there I made my way through central London, down to Dover, caught a ferry to Calais and got started in France. Calais to Amiens, through the hustle and bustle of Paris, into the southern wine regions and am now heading to the Mediterranean coast and the city of Marseille.
Bicycle touring hey, you would think that would require me being watchful of every gram I put on the bike. After all, I have to carry everything I need to live daily and be self-supported. Well I decided to haul around a full dSLR kit with me to capture the scenery I travel through, it's clearly the heaviest thing on my bike. I'm hoping the photo's I get will be worth the pain of carrying the extra weight!
