1988 British Grand Prix – First Practice

Round 8 of the Formula 1 World Championship arrived at Silverstone Circuit on Thursday July 7th, 1988. The first practice session was dominated by the McLaren Honda’s of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost placing 1st and 2nd behind the Ferrari’s of Gerhard Berger and Michele Alboreto. Senna set a time of 1:11.743 around the Silverstone circuit in his McLaren-Honda MP4/4.
