Evo VII
Joel’s 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII.
Back on the road after an extensive 10 month rebuild, Joel has poured his heart and soul into this car. The quality of the build and choice of parts used further proves this. A freshly built forged 4G63 2.0L motor with Manley conrods, Carrillo pistons, oversized valves with GSC springs and retainers, and Tomei 270 PonCams. A GTpumps 712 turbo feeds air through custom 3” piping and a HDI intercooler. A Tomei Expreme exhaust manifold, Invidia dump and 3 inch straight-pipe help rid all the gases. Engine management is controlled by a Link G4+ ECU with flex-fuel capability. Suspension is Tein springs on Bilstien shock absorbers, wheels are Evo X Enkei’s wrapped with Nankang NS-2R 255 width semi-slicks.
The car is currently on it’s run-in tune, but is expected to hit over 300kw at all four wheels once it hits the dyno!
